The Cricket Revolution

Club Cricket support programmes and revenue generators

At Cricket Deal Direct we aim to support individual cricket clubs through building relationships and providing bespoke services and opportunities.

Cricket Club Development Scheme

The Cricket Deal Direct (CDD) Club Development Scheme is an extension of the online shop affiliate offering we have operated since 2012. Throughout our daily dealing with cricket club management we have recognised that many clubs require a broader, more holistic level of support than supplying cricket equipment and clothing.

Two of most common challenges for clubs are limited access to funds and management time, much of this can be overcome by sound planning and by establishing a cost effective procurement relationship with CDD.

The Cricket Club Development Scheme is essentially a partnership between CDD and the club, whereby we provide advice and direct support in establishing and delivering strategic plans that meet the aims and objectives of the club, help ensure financial stability and fulfil growth aspirations.

This new service offering takes a ‘whole of club’ view from funding to ground maintenance and individual membership deliverables. The scheme is effectively a partnership between CDD and the club for either a 1, 2 or 3 year period. Experience has proven that by working more closely with a club we can realise significant benefits for the club, and specifically for those clubs that are keen to deliver the best “cricket environment” for their members.

Inherent to the service is our unique and significant purchasing power which enables us to leverage financial advantage for clubs. In understanding the bigger picture CDD is empowered to offer significant cost savings that multiple suppliers cannot match. In addition to this by rationalising the procurement and supply process clubs’ management time is minimised as this is undertaken by CDD – the result is less cost and more time to play cricket!

Typically the Scheme consideration delivers a plan that includes:

  1. Coaching requirements at all levels within the club
  2. Identifying the cricket equipment needed
  3. Identifying the coaching gear needed
  4. Team wear and clothing requirements
  5. Replacement or additional ground equipment
  6. Projected costing and financial planning
  7. Funding opportunities available to the club

This Scheme is not suitable for every club and naturally there are certain criteria required for Cricket Deal Direct to provide this free service. Essentially we are looking to partner progressive, forward thinking clubs of an appropriate infrastructure and size. Your own branded online shop

This is a great opportunity to add a new revenue stream into your club at NO cost. We can create your own club branded web site shop and any sales generated by club members, family and friends will earn a minimum 8% rebate for your club. We will give a web address and your logo will appear on your club shop along with our entire range of cricket equipment, accessories and clothing. All you need do is publicise it to your members… the commission is paid to you to reinvest in the club - something for nothing!
